dipsomaniac Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 the recent rain has created a nice swimming pool in the passenger footwell. i have isolated it to the sunroof (scuttle drains/windscreen ok). it is coming in through the rubber seal that the passenger door closes onto. anyone know how i can fix it? gregers Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 have you pulled the seal back abit to see if theres any crud built up?also iirc in either corner of the sunroof are drainage pipes,might be woth gently poking something down them to see it these are blocked aswell. Quote
chromedome Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) Net curtain wire is ideal for clearing any blockage in the two pipes at the sun roof. I believe these pipes drain into the A pillars so there could be a problem there. A sign that these are blocked is damp patches on the roof lining. Edited November 13, 2009 by chromedome Quote
